The hotel was centrally located, within easy ride from Groningen (GRQ-Eelde) airport. Property had comfy beds. Location within 2 miles of Groninger Museum.

The price we paid for the hotel was reasonable and the rooms were nice and new. The staff service was great and the free Wi-Fi was fast. The fact that the hotel offered free parking was also a bonus.
The location of the hotel was not very convenient, as it was quite far from the city center. the maintenance of the room was poor, with flat batteries in the remote control and the floor under the beds not being clean.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, and a delicious breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised by the small gym and the man cave where we could play billiards and smoke indoors. The espresso machine in the room was a nice touch. Despite a minor inconvenience with the light in the room, our stay at Bastion Hotel was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel for a great stay.

A nice modern hotel in a good area. Plenty of parking space in front giving reasonably secure park as we were travelling on motorcycles.
We all thought that some members of staff could have been friendlier and more helpfull at times.

We love the cozy room with a beautiful wallpaper illuminated nicely. The comfortable beds made our stay even more enjoyable. Free parking, friendly reception and breakfast staff, and a delicious breakfast with fresh fried eggs were excellent.
No negatives to mention.

Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and of good space
the shower was too small, and the location was poor, no buses pass between 3 and 5 pm. and for the rest of the day, only once an hour, and the last bus leaves from the city center is 9:52 so we had to use the taxi a lot and it was costy
